Good afternoon. Don Wede with Heartland Funding Inc. I’m here in Pekin Illinois. Strange day today, a great day, but a strange day. I was across the river in Peoria County grabbing some probate records, had a nice lunch at Johnny’s Italian Restaurant Peoria. Definitely would recommend that to anyone that wants a nice dinner or lunch.

That aside, I came over to Tazewell County. I was going to go in the courthouse and retrieve some probate records, but was not able to do that. They were hacked about two weeks ago, not only them, some banks, I believe they said the hospital, the courthouse. They were hacked, and they have no WiFi service for their pulp gas access computer, so I was not able to retrieve the records.

I probably could. There was a great kid by the name of Caleb, not a kid, a young man, in the circuit clerk’s office, very, very helpful, a Tazewell County Circuit clerk. I’m going to give Caleb a big shout as being a really helpful individual. He said he’ll have it up next time. He actually said that I could use their computer in their office, but I said, “It’s no big deal. I’ll just catch up next time,” but he was very, very helpful.

That aside, I decided to, well, there was a house here in Pekin. I’ve been meaning to take a ride by next time I was in town. It was a inherited property, and it was a two-flat. This is the property right here. Unfortunately, we see now that it’s listed with Adam Merrick Realtors, so I probably will give them a call. The house, actually, it’s a two-flat. It’s a single family home that was converted into a two-flat. My guess is it doesn’t have a heck of a lot of value, but we’ll give them a call and see what it’s listed for and see if possible we can make an offer at it. I doubt it. Usually, when there’s a realtor involved, it gets a little sticky when we’re doing our type of deals because I flip mine to private investors and, when there’s private investors involved, it gets realtors a little bit out of their comfort zone and sometimes kills the deal.

Look at the neighborhood here. It’s all right. It’s not great, not bad. Predominantly, it looks like probably a rental-predominant area, which is fine, great investment properties, but let me give you our contact information.
