Don Wede: Good afternoon, Don Wede with Heartland Funding Incorporated, www.heartlandbuyshouses.com, on 235 South of White Sparrow in Galesburg, Illinois this afternoon. It’s April the 30th, 2024. Going to do an inspection of this house. Got it under contract here. Let’s take a walk through. Let’s take a walk around outside first. Beautiful, beautiful day today, nice spring day.
We buy houses all over the state of Illinois, Chicagoland area, all the suburbs, Rockford, Quad Cities, which is East Moline, Moline, Rock Island, Davenport, Bettendorf, Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, Decatur, Illinois. In fact, I’m probably going down to Decatur to look at a house here next day or two.
Let’s go down to the basement since we’re outside here. See how this is going to go. I guess we’re going to have to get our flashlight out. Okay, got a good water heater. Furnace is old but functional and we got a service box, which is in really good shape, but it’s way over there. That’s the basement. It sounds like we got birds chirping up there. We got smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors. They’re low on batteries, so you’ll hear it chirping when we get inside the house.

We usually flip them off to our private investors right at the closing, have a double close. We buy, turn around and sell to our investors. This is a three-bedroom, two-bath home.

I haven’t bought and held on to anything for quite a while myself personally, if I do find something really nice at a really nice area, and it’s relatively close to where I live in Spring Valley, Illinois, it is something I would keep, but the majority of stuff is all over the state. Did we look in that bathroom up here? Might be doing a double take here. I did because this has got a bathroom on to it. It must be in this back room here.
