Don Wede: Hi, this is Don Wede with Heartland Funding Incorporated. I’m here in Joliet, Illinois on Sunday, April the 26th, driving around looking for vacant houses. I am practicing social distancing. I’m staying in my car, keeping six feet from everybody with this coronavirus, COVID-19, SARS-2 SARS-CoV-2, whatever you want to call it, this pandemic. We’re trying to keep our business going, but still keeping social consciousness and keeping a perspective that we can’t be mingling with people. We need to keep our distance, stay home when we can, stay in our vehicles if we have to go out and drive. If we do get out into public, it’s a good idea to wear a mask. Hand-washing is very, very important, of course. Sanitizing, I keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in my vehicle, in my car, when I get in and when I go out.

So these are all good practices. It’s just common sense in these days, but we still are actively looking for deals. We’re looking for vacant houses. I know that we can sell some real estate problems, especially in these tough times. Some people need to convert a house that was sitting there vacant into cash because a lot of people have lost their jobs, laid off. It’s a mess.

Here in Will County, Joliet, there’s quite a bit of coronavirus. Of course, in Cook County, Chicago, all the collar counties, Kane, Kendall, DuPage, also McHenry. It’s pretty rampant. Cook County and Chicago, it’s a real hotspot. It’s really bad. There’s a lot of deaths. It’s a terrible, terrible thing. It’s affecting the elderly. It’s affecting the people in prisons. It’s affecting all of us, but hopefully we can find some vacant houses here today. Maybe help solve some of these real estate problems. Of course, you can always reach us by telephone at 1-800-255-8250. Oh, there’s my Joliet in the back. Or at our website,

What else can we comment? It’s a beautiful day here. A nice spring day. It’s about 60 degrees, a little breeze, but it sure feels good to get outside. Keep our distance, but get outside. You can still go out and do activities. You could walk. You can bike, but use common sense and keep social distancing. You can exercise, but use common sense. Gyms are not open, of course, and places to gather are not open, but there’s still things you can do to keep healthy. Health is very important to keep your immune system up. A good healthy exercise regimen is proven to be a good boost for the immune system. Eat well. It’s a time to start thinking about what you’re putting in your mouth each and every day. As far as, it’s not time to sit around and watch TV and eat a lot of junk food. You’re going to eat and snack, make it something colorful. Maybe some fruits and nuts. Anything other than a high carbohydrate intake.

I’m going to sign off now. Thanks for watching this video. Everybody be safe, be healthy and be happy.
