Good afternoon. Don Wede with Heartland Funding, Inc. I’m in Belleville, Illinois, just across the river from St. Louis. This is what they call Metro East. I’m here at 415 South Church Street in Belleville, Illinois, looking at a commercial piece of real estate.
This is a little different from our normal buying criteria. We buy predominantly single family homes, but we also buy commercial. This is a mixed use commercial. It is a combination of a small little office and two apartment buildings. The gentlemen did a Google search of www.HeartlandBuysHouses.com and he found our website, gave me a call at 1-800-255-8250, and he also filled out a form on our website about the piece of property.
I’m going to walk around the back here and continue talking. He’s moving… oh my gosh, a cat had a little cat in its mouth. Wish I could get a shot of that. He’s moving out of state, has this piece of commercial real estate… Oh shoot, I don’t think… oh, maybe there is a driveway back there… And came to us to try to sell this piece of property. No, don’t look like it. All right, I’m going back. Unfortunately, he’s not here, he can’t show it to me, but I told him since I was in the area, I was over in east St. Louis, and I told him I’d take a drive by because it’s right on my way back.
Unfortunately, probably not going to be able to buy this. At least, I can’t give him the price that he’s looking for this. He thinks it’s much more valuable than it really is, but we’ll give him a… We’ll make an offer on this for sure. One thing we always do, we always make offers.
Let’s see if we can get around the back here. It’s kind of odd if we can’t, that there’s no rear access to this property, but no, there’s not. There it is right there. Not this first building, not the white building, but the building after the umbrella there. There’s no access to the rear of that building. Oh, wait a minute. Yes, there is, from the other street.
Okay. Let’s take a shortcut through here and see what’s on the backside of this building. Well, this is an alley here, just didn’t know it when this far back.
